Hay Muchos Milagros Cuando Estamos en el Servicio de Dios!

From the Letter to the President:

What a wonderful week this has been! Una semana de milagros, como siempre! Hay muchos milagros cuando estamos en el servicio de Dios! Mi encanta esta obra con todo mi corazon! Estamos emocionadas trabajar muy duro en esta semana seguiente!

I love training Hermana Young! She is so fun to work with and has lots of great ideas! I know that both Santa Paula and I need her! I am so grateful to be able to train again. I absolutely love it!

This week we have seen so many marvelous miracles! Now that we are only doing Spanish work again, we gave all of our English investigators to the English Elders. I know that the Elders will do an excellent job here in Santa Paula. I am not worried about any of our English investigators at all. We did have a big focus last transfer on the English work. Most of our investigators last transfer were English. This week we have been out searching for our brothers and sisters who have been prepared to receive the gospel in their lives.

We were able to find a man named H. We were able to teach him the Restoration. At the beginning of the lesson, H did not really seem interested in our message. He was not really paying attention. However, as we continued to teach him, he gained interest. He began to comment more on our message and we were able to have a great discussion with him. I felt inspired to invite H to read 3 Nephi 11. On our next appointment with H we asked him if he had read. He told us yes! In his own words he said, "Wow!" He loved the chapter and we were able to help answer his questions. We were also able to read another chapter out of the Book of Mormon and discuss it. We also started teaching him about the Plan of Salvation. H is a deep thinker and he agreed with the things that we were saying. At the end of the lesson H even gave us some tips as to how we can speak Spanish better. It was such an exciting experience to teach H, and in turn have him help us. He has really great potential and we are so excited to continue working with him.

This week we were also able to find a sweet lady named O. We taught her the Restoration and she loved it. As I was reciting the first vision, her eyes widened with excitement. She was excited to receive a Book of Mormon. We both felt that there is something special about O. We could see that she has the Light of Christ shining through her.

Yesterday we were able to have a lesson with S. It went wonderfully! We were able to teach her about the Plan of Salvation. We shared some scriptures with her and she wanted us to write down the references so that she could go back and read the scriptures again in the Book of Mormon. We invited her to be baptized and she said yes. We tried setting her with a baptismal date but then she told us that she has already been baptized as a Catholic. We know that S has potential. She tells us how her kids don't like going to their Catholic church and so she wants to take them some where else. She says that she wants to take them to our church. We've talked about the different classes and activities that our church has for all ages. We are having another lesson with S this week. We really want to help S and her family come to church this Sunday.

Speaking of church, church was wonderful! I loved going to the Santa Paula Ward, and then the Buenaventura Branch! It was wonderful! We are excited to attended the branch now so that we can get to know more of the members that are living in our area as well as find those members who are less-active. We have so much good work here in Santa Paula! It is thrilling!

We were also able to talk to a man yesterday who had visited the Oakland Temple Visitor Center. He was interested in learning more about temples. We talked briefly about temples and about how baptism is a prerequisite to entering the temple. He was really interested and excited to learn more. We were able to give him a Book of Mormon and we have another appointment scheduled with him for this upcoming week.

This week has been so wonderful! I go home at night simply exhausted! I love it! I love how I always have the energy the next day to go out again and work hard. I am so grateful to be an instrument in the Lord's hands. I am not perfect, but I am trying my best, and I know that is what He expects of me. I love this work! I love my Savior, Jesus Christ! I love being a missionary!

Mom! Yes, thank you so much for the package you sent! It was wonderful! I loved all the quotes that you sent too! Haha so funny! This week has been great! I'm training Hermana Young. She is so fun! She knows a lot more Spanish than I did when I first came out.

She is a really cute girl!

That sounds like such a fun trip! Yeah, you could have gone to Mexico! I think it would be fun to go back some day. I've also thought about taking Spanish classes when I get back so that I can have more than just a missionary vocabulary of Spanish.

I can't believe that you have already scheduled me an appointment. That's crazy! In my mind, my mission will never end haha. But one day all good things must come to an end I suppose. So Andrew emailed me saying that he can submit his papers in January! Crazy! I know he will want to leave before I get back! I want to see him before he leave but I'm sure he is just so excited!

This is B and A. D's 2 younger sisters!

They were so sad that Hna Newland was leaving.

I don't have her address yet but I will get it soon. Hopefully I'll have time to write you all a letter today. If not, thank you so much for all that you do, have done, and are doing for me. It really makes the world of difference. I know I have the BEST family in the world! By far!

This is our district! It is so fun!

Hermana Newland!

Thanks so much mom for everything you do! You are my hero! LOVE YOU!

The Best Transfer of My Life!

From the Letter to the President:

This has truly been the best transfer of my life! I have absolutely loved working in Santa Paula with Hermana Newland! It has been such a joy! I am so very exciting for this next transfer! I am ever so amazed at the grace of the Lord in helping me to become the person I want to be, but more importantly, the person He wants me to become. This week was fantastic!

We have been able to find some great new investigators this week. We met a woman named JM on Tuesday. She actually has a son who is a less-active member. We were able to share about the Book of Mormon with her. She was very excited to learn more. We were also able to meet a woman named S living at the same place as JM. We started talking to S about families. As we kept talking we noticed that she was crying. We asked her if she was alright. She told us that she was in the process of going through a divorce. That's when we stopped talking and started teaching her. So many times it's easy to fall into a routine of saying the same things over and over again. However, I love following the spirit. We were really about to teach S according to her needs. We were able to share Alma 26:27 with S. We talked about being patient in our trials and how the Lord will give us success in the end. It was such a powerful lesson. It was a humbling experience to be able to teach S.

We also had another miracle. I wish I could count all the miracles we see every single day! We have been having our after-baptism lessons with S. This week we were able to teach him about the Plan of Salvation and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  In one of our lessons we had showed S an object lesson. At the end of the lesson we asked him if he wanted to get a member of his family to come and watch him teach the object lesson. He was excited and ran inside the house to find someone to teach. He came out with his whole family! He showed them how we need to rely and build upon our Savior Jesus Christ.  He was able to engage his brother and sister and parents. It was amazing! Afterwards we were able to talk with E, S's dad, and ask him his thoughts about receiving the missionary lessons. He told us that he knows that he is the last one of his family that needs to get baptized. He really wants to be baptized but he wants to take it slow learning the lessons. He told us that he would come and sit in on S's lessons and that we could teach him. It was such a miracle! Looking over this family's teaching record, I can tell that they have totally changed. Before when the missionaries would come over, they would just lock the door. Now we have been able to teach the whole family and help them come back to church!

This week we had a fantastic lesson with S! She is a new investigator of ours. She is Catholic but told us that she does not live according to her religion. Her desires are to follow Jesus Christ and God. We had an amazing Restoration lesson with her in her home. We had previously given her a Book of Mormon and she had already read the Introduction. S really has the light of Christ shining brightly through her. She has an adorable family of three young girls. I loved teaching S as she was just so humble and loving! It was wonderful! We have another appointment scheduled with her for this week!

I am thrilled to be training again this transfer!!! I was able to study in the Missionary Handbook about leadership. I loved it all! I especially loved Ezekiel 34. As missionaries, we are like shepherds in stewardship of flocks. It is our sacred calling to find out those lost sheep and to guide them back to the fold. The True Shepherd, whom we represent, has shown us the way. I am so grateful for the perfect example of Jesus Christ. I know that as I strive to become more like Him in all that I do, I can become the person that Heavenly Father wants me to be. That is my ultimate goal in this life.

We can learn how to be a great leader by following Jesus Christ. He lifted, encouraged, inspired, and blessed all those around him. I pray that I may be able to do that this transfer. I pray that by doing so, I may become a more pure conduit for the Light of the Savior to shine through me.

This past transfer has been the best time of my life! I love learning to rely more on the Savior's Atonement every single day of my life. I am eternally grateful for my decision to serve a mission. I have seen so many countless blessing to which I will ever be grateful to my Heavenly Father for. I love this work!!!

MOM! Here is an email from my Mission President to us: The new missionaries arriving this week will be given a partially revised Orientation Booklet. Because of the changes that will come with the iPads in the near future, there will not be a general distribution at this time. Of particular interest for you will be regarding correspondence.

"All mail will come directly to your apartment (letters and packages). Please inform family and friends of your address. Inform them of the transfer dates a week prior. Tell them not to send letters or packages until you notify them. Please instruct your family and friends to use your first and last name on any correspondence. When contacting or sending information to the mission office, please use your full name. In all situations you should be addressed by the title of your calling, Elder or Sister. Any packages sent by UPS or FedEx can be sent to your apartment but cannot be forwarded. Please advise all who may send packages to use US Postal Services if possible. Advise family and friends that your apartment addresses are temporary. Ask them to check with you via email for address changes. Promptly let them know your address change. Mail delivered to the office will be forwarded.

Just so you know I'm staying in Santa Paula and training a brand new missionary! WAHOO! Also, Hermana Newland is also going to be training. As a trainer, our job is to make sure our trainee would be ready to train after their first 12 weeks in the mission. And Hermana Newland is! I guess I must have done something right :)

Hermana Newland is going to Santa Maria. But guess what else? Santa Paula is getting English Elders. The Elders will work in Fillmore and Santa Paula... so that means I'm back to strictly Spanish work again. I am also very excited for that. I love doing English work but I felt like there was so much English work that we did not really have a strong focus on the Spanish work. I am excited to make that my focus once again.

I will be getting my new companion tomorrow at transfer meeting. I don't know her yet but I have been praying for her. I know this transfer is going to be AMAZING!

Also, reading in the missionary handbook I discovered that I can actually pay fast offerings from the money that I receive from the mission. So I am going to be doing that. Hmmm I could use some more makeup. I like the eyeshadow you bought my for my birthday. I don't know if you remember it. It has four colors. A whitish color, and brown, purple, and maybe green? I mostly use the white, brown, and purple I think. Also foundation would be great. Still no Walmart here :) And I was thinking about buying a straightener but haven't yet. You could send me one of those if you want.

Oh guess what else?!?! So A, my investigator in my last area got baptized!!! I started teaching her with the 1st Hermana Brown and finished teaching her with the 2nd Herman Brown. So really I was the missionary there for all of her lessons! I was so excited to hear that she got baptized last month. And her 16 year old daughter! SO MANY MIRACLES! Well I don't have much time but I'll send this and keep typing like crazy :)

So K, a lady that we have been teaching (she is a member) wanted to take us out to have pedicures. So this morning that is exactly what we did. Unfortunately she just broke her toe, so she couldn't get a pedicure. But she sat in the comfy massage chair. It was so fun! I'm addicted to pedicures now :)  We told them not to take off our callous though, we need those!

Also HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MOM AND DAD!!! I hope that you both enjoy your time together. I love you both so much!

I am doing so well! Better and better every single day! That you for all the love and support!

Les quiero muchisimo!

Con amor,

Hermana Killpack

No Work More Satisfying

From the Letter to the Mission President:

To say this week was a wonderful week would be an understatement! We saw so many miracles! I love this work! I absolutely love being an instrument in the Lord's Hands! There is no work more satisfying!

This past week we had the opportunity to teach Sl. We taught him tithing, fast offerings, follow the prophet, and obey and honor the law. He was so willing to pay tithing. He has such faith to do what God wants him to do. We were planning to have his baptism this next Sunday, but we are moving his date. He has been working a lot lately and we feel that he is not quite ready for baptism. We are moving his date to the 23rd of August. Sl was also at church yesterday! He was supposed to go to work but he told his boss that he would be late to work because he had to go to church. He was only able to stay for Sacrament Meeting. I was touched by his faith to come to church even when he was supposed to go to work. Sl loves learning! He is so humble and always a pleasure to teach.

This week we were also able to teach S. We are now reteaching him all the lessons. When we went over to teach him, he seemed different. He remembered the lesson better and also answered our questions better. We have seen a change in him now that he has the Holy Ghost. It is so amazing! S is doing great and we are excited to continue teaching him.

We had a really neat Restoration lesson this week with a woman named C. We were going to an appointment but it fell through. We have a goal as a companionship that we can't get back into our car unless we have talked to someone, shared a restored truth, and invited them to do something. So, we started walking. We saw an apartment that we both felt impressed to try. We knocked on the door and C answered. We shared our message and she listened. It was a pretty average Restoration lesson. When the lesson was over we asked C if we could say a prayer. At first she was hesitant. However we explained the way that we pray in our church and I offered to say it. She agreed, and I said the prayer. We were both surprised to see that when I finished the prayer C had tears streaming down her face. She just stood and looked at us as she cried. I asked if there was anything that we could do for her and she told us no. I know that she was really able to feel the spirit. It was such an amazing experience. We also invited her to church and she asked us what time it started in Spanish.  It was such a miracle to find C. We are going back this week to have a lesson with her. It is amazing how the Lord can guide and direct us to the people that we need to find!

We had a great lesson with a less-active named A. He shared some experiences of when he has heard the Holy Ghost in his life. He has countless stories of how he has been protected by listening to the promptings of the Spirit. He told us that he knows he should come back to church. He wants to. We were able to share a scripture with him and invite him to church. We also are going to start meeting with him and read from the Book of Mormon. We were able to have a powerful lesson with A.

This week we found a new investigator named S. She was so nice! She has talked with missionaries before in the past. She was excited to get the Book of Mormon because she likes to read. It was also such a miracle that we were able to find her. Another one of our appointments fell through and so we just started knocking. We knocked her door first and were able to have a great lesson with her!

We also found another great new investigator named A! We were going to have a lesson with his mom, but she was busy, so we had a lesson with him. We taught him the Restoration and he listened intently to what we had to say. Before we even mentioned it, he invited us to come back and teach him more.  I love teaching people who are excited to learn. It's so great!

Yesterday we also were able to find a woman named A. She has also talked to missionaries in the past when she was younger. She now has a cute little family of 3 kids. She listened to our message and told us that she remembers learning about Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon. She told us that she wants to raise her family with morals and help them to make good choices. We talked about the importance of family and how family is the most important thing in this life. We are excited to go back and teach her!

I love being a missionary! I love teaching the people! Even if people aren't interesting in listening to us now, we are planting seeds for future missionaries to reap. That is something that I love about missionary work. I love going home exhausted every night. I love the miracle of waking up with energy to go out and work hard again the next day. The Lord is truly blessing us! We see so many miracles every single day! I am so very grateful to be apart of this great work! It is a humbling calling, and the best calling! I love life! I love this church! I know that it is true!

Mom! Thank you so much for the package you sent! How did you know I needed more mentos? Haha I was going to buy some last week but they were too expensive. And I was so surprised to get your package and get mentos. Yes! The Lord is just blessing us so much! Also thank you for the double-stick tape. It works! My scriptures are much happier now. Thanks for the adorable earrings! I wore mine the other day and Hermana Newland is wearing hers now. Thank you so much for thinking about her. She was so touched. I think you almost made her cry again! Oh mother, you are an angel. Aubrey's notes were also very cute!

Girls camp sounds like fun. They always have really good hikes! Something I love about you mom is that you don't give up! Some people would make an excuse, but you don't!

That's good that dad has some extra help. I'm sure he needs it! He works so much! That should be fun for Josh to work with Dad. That's something that I miss. This past week we had the opportunity to clean the Church building and it reminded me of cleaning Dad's work place. That was a great job!

That picture of Dad and Benson is adorable! Oh he is the cutest!!!

Yesterday I think it rained a bit. It also was really humid. Something that I'm not really used to coming from dry Idaho. It was fun though. Hna Newland said it reminded her of Oklahoma.

Well thanks so much for all your love, support, and prayers! Today we are driving to Camarillo to pick up some glasses for hna Newland. A while ago she mentioned that she needed new glasses. I told her that we should get some. She pushed it aside telling me "It's okay" But I insisted and we set up an appointment. Two weeks ago we went to the eye doctor and today we will go pick up her new free glasses. Such a blessings! That's what happens when you go to an eye doctor who is a member :)

Well have a marvelous day/week! I love you all so much!

Con mucho amor

Joy to Be Part of the Lord's Hastening

From the letter to the President:

I don't know how, but life keeps on getting better and better! Tuvimos muchos milagros esta semana! The Lord truly is hastening His work and it is such a joy in my life to be a part of it!

This Monday we were able to meet I and J. A couple months ago J's wife was killed in an accident. It was a very traumatic experience for the whole family. J has two sons, J and R. They are really going through a hard time. A sister in the ward was able to introduce us to the family. We were able to talk about Jesus Christ and His sacrifice and also about the plan of salvation. I, who lives next door to J, is J's sister-in-law. The loss was also hard on her family. We were able to get to know her better and share a scripture with her that really helped. It was so sad to see this family going through such a hard time. However, what peace and comfort it brings to know that God truly does have a plan for us. We will see our loved ones again. I love being a missionary and sharing this knowledge with those who do not know.

This week we were able to teach S about missionary service, teaching and learning, enduring to the end, the priesthood, eternal marriage, and temple and family history work. We worked hard with S to make sure that he was prepared for his baptism. He was so ready! S's baptism was amazing!

The Spirit was so strong! S's grandmother and aunt, both who aren't members, were able to make it. It also had a big impact on S's dad, who also is not a member. I watched as both of S's parents were touched by the Spirit as tears streamed down their faces. It was such a honor to be apart of S's baptism. M, S's mom, says that they only have one more baptism left in their family, her husband E. E already considers himself a member of our church but we still need to teach him the lessons. We are excited to continue working with this beautiful family! S's sister A, has recently got started doing personal progress. She is so excited! She has also mentioned before wanted to serve a mission. It is truly amazing to see this family come back to church and receive the blessings for their faithfulness.

Yesterday S's confirmation was very powerful. S was blessed that he would have a desire to serve a mission, get married in the temple, and have an eternal family. Words cannot express the joy I felt. This is the true church of Jesus Christ. I could never deny it. The Spirit bore witness to me that God has so much love for each and every one of us. He is just waiting to give us blessings if we are obedient to His commandments.

This week we were able to teach Sl the Gospel of Jesus Christ, prayer, study the scriptures, obedience, and the Word of Wisdom. He is so excited for his baptism. We actually changed his baptismal date because he wants to be baptized on his birthday on August 10. He will be 61. Sl absolutely loves coming to church. He loves the people at church. He loves learning more. Sl was able to attend the baptism, however he was late. He planned on coming to the baptism and told us that he would take the whole day of work off so that he could come. At the last minute he was called in to help with somethings. He still had time to make it back to the baptism so he went. On the way back from his errands he told us that he got lost. He told us that he knew that something did not want him at the baptism. We told Sl that it was Satan. Satan works so hard on people who are about to make a righteous decision. Sl did miss that baptism but enjoyed the rest of the program. We are having a lesson with him tonight. We love teaching Sl!

This week we also taught C and her 8 year old son about the Restoration. They both listened intently and after we were done sharing our message C commented, "There is no way that he could have made that up," referring to Joseph Smith. C and J were also at church yesterday. Yesterday was J's first time and he absolutely loved church! C wants J to be involved in church activities and scouting. We are excited to continue working with them.

We were able to find some great new investigators to teach. It is truly amazing how the Spirit can guide us where to go and what to say. I am so grateful to be a missionary serving here in the Great California Ventura Mission. There is absolutely no where I would rather be. I am so grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and for His Atonement. I have been able to find strength from the Atonement every single day of my life. I love being able to teach the people here in Santa Paula. It is such a humbling calling to be a disciple of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I love life! I love the gospel! Yo se que esta Iglesia es verdadera! Esta obra es mi vida! Se que vive mi Senor!

Mom! First off, thanks so much for your letter! To me and to Hermana Newland. She was so touched. She said that it brought tears to her eyes when she was reading your letter, and even after just thinking about it. Thank you mother. You are an angel. She has been out for 3 and a half months. Thank you so much for taking time to write her. I also wrote her a letter one P-day :)

This week has been wonderful! We are seeing SO many miracles! So last Fast Sunday was the first time that I paid my fast offerings. I don't know why I've never paid them before. Maybe I really didn't understand what a fast offering was. But I have seen so many blessings because I paid my fast offerings. I wanted to tell you that I am going to pay my fast offerings every Fast Sunday. I'm planning on paying so I will take that out of my account at the end of every month. I realize that I am not making any money at this time but I truly have gained a testimony of paying fast offerings.

Wow, Glen and Rachal Monson are both home! Crazy! Yes, I love that quote! I believe that a general authority said it in General Conference because it has always stuck with me. A mission is the best two years (year and a half) for your life. And oh how true it is. I have learned so much about myself, my Savior Jesus Christ, and how I can be a more effective instrument in the Hands of the Lord. I love it!

Time is just flying! We only have 2 more weeks in this transfer! I love working with Hna Newland! We get along great! Haha funny story real quick. So the other Hermana's in Santa Paula saw that they had received a voicemail from our district leader and his companion. They listened to the voicemail and realized that they had been called by mistake. The elders had accidentally called during their lunch break. The Hermana's were about to just delete the message but decided to keep listening. All of a sudden they heard one of the Elders singing a song about missionary work to the tune of "Be a Man" from Mulan. The Elder did not know that the phone was recording his every word. Hahaha the Hermana's gladly let us listen to the voicemail and we all had a great time laughing.

Thanks so much for all your love and prayers. I will be fasting for Joshua this Tuesday (tomorrow). I hope that all goes well with him. I know it will. I love you all so much! Have the best week ever!

Con mucho amor

Hermana Killpack!

That plant could probably eat me!

Love these Hermanas!

The Windows of Heaven in Santa Paula

From the letter to the President:

We are seeing so many blessings here in Santa Paula! The Lord is truly hastening His work! This week was wonderful! The windows of heaven truly are open as the Lord is pouring out His blessings upon us.

This week we were able to teach a man named m. We knocked into him one day and he was busy so he told us to come back. We went back this past week and were able to have a fantastic restoration lesson with him. M has a degree in philosophy. It was fun to teach him because he contemplated our message in a way that most people don't really think about. We would be talking and then one of us would stop and he would jump in "What happens next?" Our lesson with M was the funnest lesson that we had this week! His was so sincere in his desire to listen to us. He told us that more than anything he wants to be closer to God. I was able to show M the paragraph in the Introduction of the Book of Mormon. The paragraph that says that the Prophet Joseph Smith stated that a man would get nearer to God by abiding by the precepts in the Book of Mormon than by any other book. He read that and was surprised but excited. We were able to give him a Book of Mormon and commit him to read it. We are excited to continue teaching M.

We were also able to teach S again this week. His baptism is this Saturday! We were able to teach S about tithing, fasting, and being obedient to the law. S is always so excited to learn about the promised blessing we will receive as we are obedient to the commandments of God. We absolutely love teaching S! S and his family were at church again yesterday! It truly is a miracle that they are coming  back to church. We are excited to continue working with their family!

Yesterday we were blessed with another miracle. We knocked on a door looking for a potential and found A. We briefly told her who we were and she just let us right in. She was very kind and friendly. We were able to teach her the Restoration as well. She had some really great questions and invited us to come back again. She told us that she would read in the Book of Mormon. A recognized that us (the missionaries) finding her was a miracle. We were looking for someone else but found her instead. A kept on saying that it was a miracle.

And oh how we see so many miracles every single day! It truly is a miracle that I can understand and talk to people in Spanish! Although I'm not perfect, and there is still so very much that I don't know, the Lord has loosened my tongue so that I may share this message in English and Spanish! Oh what a blessing! A tender mercy from God! I am so grateful that I can be an instrument in the Lord's hand. It is so very humbling!
We are teaching a boy named F. He is 17 years old and has been raised Catholic. We have started teaching him simply because he does not know a whole lot about God and Jesus Christ. It has been fun teaching him!

We also were able to teach a woman named S. She was able to read in the Book of Mormon and was excited to learn more. We started to teach her about the Plan of Salvation but haven't covered everything yet. It is always a pleasure to teach people who are eager to learn more. She told us that she wants to come to church but hasn't been able to make it yet.

We also have a new investigator named G. We found G walking on the sidewalk. We were able to introduce ourselves as missionaries and tell her briefly about the message that we share. She was walking with her two daughters E, and C. They are 9 and 10 years old. As we were about to walk away E and C came up and hugged us  both. They are so cute! We were able to go to G's house and have a great lesson with her. We shared the message of the Restoration. On another occasion we were able to talk to E and C about Jesus Christ. They all loved learning more.

We are seeing countless miracles here in Santa Paula! The Lord is truly hastening His work! What a privilege it is to be a representative of our Savior Jesus Christ! I learn more and more everyday and am ever amazed at the Lord's mercy and grace! I love being a missionary! I love my brother Jesus Christ, and I know that this church is true!

Yes Mom I was able to get the camera and scripture case. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Wow! That camera is really nice! It's working great! I am still trying to figure out how to use it. I'm sure I'll get it soon! Yes I was so excited to hear about Haylee getting her mission call. That's so exciting for her! I know that she will be a fantastic missionary!

So, this past week we had president's interviews and he told me that we are getting Tablets in our mission. I'm not sure when, he said sometime before December, so we'll see what happens. I think that means we'll be on fb too. Which I really didn't want to be on Fb but if it helps in the missionary work I'll do it. Haha.

So I was wondering about how much $ I have because my straightner just broke. I'm not really sure if there is a good place to buy one around here but I'll have to look around. I have been using Hna's Newland's but I can't be using hers forever.

So this week I was out exercising and I accidentally tripped. I fell and scraped up my hand. It's doing lots better. But here is a picture compliments of my new camera haha.

Also we had the opportunity to do some service for Kim! We helped her clean her house because her daughter is coming to visit from I can't remember where. I'm not sure why she grabbed the garlic at the last moment to be in the picture with us. Haha she and her husband are very funny!

I am doing so great! I love hearing from you! Letters are the best! If you every have time to write I would absolutely love that! I hope and pray that all is well with you! Les quiero muchismo!

Tenga un buen dia!

Con mucho amor, como siempre!
